Lowest Price The Gospel According to Coco Chanel: Life Lessons from the World's Most Elegant Woman
This book was a lot of fun. Karen Karbo does a great job of distilling the myths and stories around Chanel into a concise volume of the essence of Chanel's life and philosophy. I shaved off a star because I wasn't quite clear on whether the author was trying to show how Chanel gospel impacted her life, or whether the cute comments were just there to fill space. Some of the humor fell flat, only because I wasn't sure what the author was trying to tell me. Was the book about Chanel or Karbo? Maybe both? That is a quibble though, because the author digs up a lot of good info that the Chanel-o-phile will want to read. Based on Karbo's quest for a "real" Chanel piece, I went out and found myself a belt from early 1970s (Pre-Lagerfeld). So bravo Ms. Karbo!Get more detail about The Gospel According to Coco Chanel: Life Lessons from the World's Most Elegant Woman.
