This was a book picked out by my Book Club. I didn't think I would like the graphic format, but it was a completely engaging true-life story that I couldn't put down. It can be laugh aloud funny and deeply sad at the same time. I became so interested in the story of Marjane in modern-day Iran that I didn't want the book to end.
