Although I have not read the "old Breed" for many years, I am going to order it and read again after seeing all the nine episodes to date of Pacific. Last night's Okinawa - was one of the most powerful and moving war movies I have ever seen. I was emotionally drained when the hour was over! How Sledge and his marines survived this hell is unreal.
