I am a former Christian-Baptist turned rationalist (some people refer to us as athiests). I regard Jesus in much the same sense Jefferson did. He was a good man who taught a lot of good things. While there is a lot of stuff that Jefferson included in his bible that I wouldn't have included, I still found it very interesting to see what he considered to be Jesus' most important moral teachings.
