Overall I really enjoyed this book. The story is epic with diverse rich set of characters. This is an amazing view of Bombay from arrival and getting to know the people through to building his deep understanding of the Indian people and customs. What I didn't like was the fact that the lines between fact and fiction are blurred in this book with the author not willing to divulge how much of the story is true.Get more detail about Shantaram.
